• Ice On and off day of procedure alternating 10 minutes on 10 minutes off if procedure area becomes moist from ice blot  with moist paper towel and let it dry.

• New wounds naturally leak fluid. Blotting this fluid is vital for healing and color retention. If allowed to accumulate, it forms crusts that can pull out pigment, resulting in patchy or faded color.

• Please use a paper towel very slightly dampened with water to gently blot your brows. Continue this process every 15minutes until fluid secretion has ceased.

• Absolutely NO SUN, or TANNING for 14 FULL DAYS after the procedure. It causes the skin to exfoliate after a few daystaking color with it as it fades.

• DO NOT take hot showers. Keep bathroom doors open to prevent any steam. Steam will result in improper healing, fading, loss of pigmentation

• DO NOT submerge your tattoo in bath water. DO NOT let the shower spray hit your tattoo directly for 14 days.

• Avoid letting shampoo and/or conditioner run down your pigmentation, as it can cause discoloration of the pigment.

• Apply a thin layer only. Over-applying ointment "suffocates" the skin and can cause pigment loss. Keep the area lightly moist, but never greasy or bone-dry. 

• Allergic reactions are rare, but possible. If a rash or bumps develop, stop using Aquaphor immediately. Contact us for alternatives (like plain Vaseline) or see a physician if the reaction is severe.

• NO EXERCISING or ENGAGING in any activity that causes you to SWEAT OR HEAT UP until your tattoo has finished flaking. Waiting 14 full days is best.

• SWEAT CONTAINS SALT, which can infect, fade, and/or discolor your tattoo.

• ABSOLUTELY ZERO SUN/UV FOR 14 full days. IT WILL SERIOUSLY FADE PIGMENT

• After 2 weeks, wearing sunscreen is highly recommended. UV rays WILL fade and/or discolor your tattoo.

• During your healing process do not expose your pigmentation to chemicals, hot tubs, pools, lakes, ponds, saunas, hot water, salt water, direct shower spray, etc.

• Do not use laser light therapy on your tattoo, as this can darken, lighten, and/or distort the pigment.

 

 WASHING A COSMETIC-PARAMEDICAL TATTOO

• After weeping has ceased, (48 HOUR MINIMUM) washing of the new brow pigmentation can begin.

• Washing is typically done 1-2 times daily, using only cold or cool water.

• Clean fingertips and antibacterial soap of Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo ONLY are used to gently cleanse the area with minimal pressure; DO NOT RUB

• All traces of antibacterial soap or baby shampoo should be rinsed off the area.

• Pat dry with a paper towel & air dry for 10 minutes before ointment is applied.

• Ointment is NEVER to be applied to wet or damp tattoos.

APPLYING OINTMENT OVER YOUR NEW TATTOO

​

• Apply AQUAPHOR frequently for the next 2-4 weeks until healed.

• Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching the newly pigmented area.

• Begin using the ointment following the first wash.

• Only use the AQUAPHOR OINTMENT.

• Apply a small amount of AQUAPHOR to brows several times a day until the flaking has stopped. Always blot the priorointment before applying a new layer.

require a 4–6-week touch-up to complete pigmentation, adjust shape, and ensure even saturation. Our goal is full client satisfaction. Our 1 Touch Up service is complimentary when scheduled within 4 to 8 weeks of the first procedure. (If not scheduled and completed within 8 weeks client will forfeit the complimentary service & must schedule a new appointment)

Failure to follow Precare Instructions will significantly impact your procedure, complications including:

excessive bleeding or swelling, increased discomfort, increased procedure length, pigment migration, poor retention of color, discoloration, skin hyper pigmentation, or scarring. and may result in the forfeiture of your touch up appointment and deposit. Must be 18+yrs unless having paramedical procedure with signed guardian consent/guardian must be present during entire procedure.
